I always have a few deformed sarr leaves, always thought it was a stress thing. However I did catch two weevily guys 2 days ago and fed them to the sarrs. I'll keep a close eye. It's been dryish lately so no big floods to keep the weevils down.

Wow. I didn't realize that weevils could do that much damage. :/ That's crazy.
Sorry to see your plants like this, Pet. I wish I could help.

Yes, those little weevils do seem quite capable of doing a lot of damage.
Luckily i haven't had to deal with them here, but i'll be keeping an eye on any weevils lurking around my plants here from now on.
Thanks for posting on the damage these insects can cause.

I just found a few weevils. Taking chunks out of my succulents, some of my agaves and even my bigger D capensis. That's a declaration of war if I've ever seen it. Never seen these bastards before... Do they come in on garden center plants?

never had weevils on my plants. annoying that they're eating the succulents. I would douse the succulents in alcohol.

The succulents aren't valuable, they're just garden variety I was keeping alive over winter for my wife. The Agaves a little more so as they are a living memory of my trip to South Africa. It seems limited to my windowsill plants mostly, so I'll keep those isolated.
I've only seen a few of them. Kinda cute little guys even. They crossed the line when they started munching on the capensis though. Nepenthes took care of disposing of the bodies.
