Kase: That's a very good question. If I ever am allowed to use eBay again, I will make a password about 20 characters long and change it every month. Even then I will only buy stuff that I just couldn't get anywhere else.

Lloyd - Well I am glad at least PayPal redeemed themselves, if not a little late. All of this talk of passwords reminds me of an comic on the matter: xkcd.com/936/

Here's the latest (and likely the last) from eBay:
Hello Lloyd, I tried to reach you via your cell number provided in your email. I did however leave you a voice mail. As stated I am not seeing any recent activity of an account take over via 3rd party. Also note that your account is not suspended due to any account take over activities, you account is suspending due to concerns with the items in which you were selling. In reviewing your account, we have found that the appropriate action was taken when making the decision to suspend your eBay activities and will not be overturning the suspension. We have noted the following concerns: -- Concern regarding the authenticity of the items being sold on the account. These concerns cause negative buying experiences and unfairness to other sellers that are following our policies and providing great customer service. The eBay User Agreement states that we may suspend or terminate user accounts if we believe you're creating problems, possible legal liabilities, or acting inconsistently with the letter or spirit of our policies. While we understand that you may not agree with the decision to suspend your account, based on an additional review, we've decided that your account will remain closed indefinitely. This decision is final and we may not respond to future inquires regarding this matter. From reviewing your email, I see that you also might have a concern regarding your PayPal account and some unauthorized use, so I will send your information over to the executive office of PayPal. Also Lloyd, please note that no further appeals will be reviewed in regard to your account suspension status. Thank you again for contacting eBay’s Executive Office. I wish you the best of luck with your future endeavors. Phillip G.

Talk about corporate giants s***ing on the little guy.
There must be something you can do to file complaints, we could find the head office and tell then off in person.
Their reasoning is so stupid, if you really were something Chinese scammer why would you go through so much effort to get your account back, you would just make a new one and you would think that your previous years of normal activities would give you some credit. It's not like scammers make an account and wait years later to start scamming on it.

Hi Lloyd - Well that's a pain! Hey, they are headquartered in the Silicon Valley. I'll be out there in the spring. Want me to deliver a nasty note to them in person for you? Maybe a picture of you and all your friends giving them the raspberries?

A good idea but they'll probably suspend you from eBay, PayPal and maybe even the Internet and the universe.
