Thanks DJ! All the Nepenthes, Heliamphora and Cephalotus are kept on egg crate above water. There are people that grow them sitting in a shallow tray of water, but I prefer not to. The Pinguicula I keep in trays of water about an inch deep and refil a day or two after the tray dries out and similiar with Drosera.
If you'd like make a thread and post some pictures, should be able to help you out a bit more that way. I find the most important thing is strong lighting and temperature.

Tks for the photos Drew. I really like to see how the overall setting looks like and take shape. I take note of the difference in the lighting high and I cannot believe how near your T5 are from your pings and ceph It must me a question of the wall reflexion because if I put mine so near, everting burn ...

No problem Martin.
It is very strong light, there is 6HO T5's there. I have a fan blowing air over the plants whenever the light is on so that keeps the plants cool. Without this they would burn for sure. The ceph is about 7" from lights and pings are about 9-10" probably.

I have 3 tubes over my plants (1 T5HO and two shoplight tubes) but because they're 4 ft in length over a 3 ft Exoterra tank, I can't get them any closer than 18" May need to rethink my setup Thanks for the insight Drew

Hi Drew - That tent is doing really well for you! Everything looks so happy. I like your NatGeo thermometer/hygrometer too, where too wet is perfect!

Thanks Apoplast! I know there are a few other orchid lovers here too. This is my first Dracula to flower. D. chimaera - Flower is about 8" total across, but most of this is its "wings"
