Ok, I'll see ... if you had bad experience with it, I'll wait because I really do not have the time to repot often at this time.
Hey hey, the great box you send me this summer really help create enthusiasm. I'm also unable to find small bag of gypsum here too ... I would really like to see by myself what impact on the root system adding some gypse can do. It's my first full year growing ping but I find a mixt of perlite/vermiculite/aqualite fairly easy to manage.
Great photos Andrew, we will have to compare some plants when they will be on flower, my laueana and weser leaves are very differents from yours.

I have lots so if you ever want to try just send me a PM.
Sounds good! I believe there is 2 forms of Weser, one being called "fake Weser" which I think is the reciprocal parents of the "true Weser". Also there are a few clones if laueana so I'd love to see photos of both of yours. Both of these plans I got from a grower in BC and she originally got them from Keehns. The weser flowered this spring but this was when it was on my windowsill and before I could get a photo my cat had bitten it off. Laueana has never flowered for me.
Do you know the origin of your two?

My laueana looks a lot like drew's. I got it from Hawaiian Botanicals and it flowers every 3 months. I have another from a trade in Toronto that has shorter, fatter leaves, but it's still juvenile.
My Weser looks like drew's too, but I find the plant to be highly variable with age. When they are small, they have shorter, wider leaves and are a brilliant rose colour. Same with Pirouette.

Nice photos Martin. I will have to take photos of my P. 'Weser''s that are not splitting because ours actually very nearly identical.
Also I liked how light your P. laueana flower is, quite nice.

This is a division from another plant but this plant flowered late August this year and the year previous so I assume next August it should flower again. I didnt get a chance to photograph it last time because that plant was grown on a windowsill and one of my cats thought it would make a tasty treat.
