ok I would like to say thanks 31drew31 for the plants again It was his p.weser I took a carnivorous leaf by cutting and I put it in soil the leaf is still alive and continues to get bugs (the leaf with no roots) how ling dose it take to get a small plant pics soon

No problem Ray. With Pinguicula you want to make sure to get the entire leaf and the white part that connects to the plant, so its better to actually work the leaf off by pulling it side to side rather than actually cutting the leaf off. I find it takes anywhere from 2-4 weeks to notice a green little nub sticking out from the base of the leaf. I've found that as long as you get at least some of the bottom half of the leaf, and it's a fresh leaf, you have a good chance or getting multiple sprouts.

dose p.weser go into succulent leaves in winter or something like that

I find it slows down and makes smaller carnivorous leaves, but doesnt produce succulent leaves.
