Just refering to a homemade cooling system that could be adapted for cooling a terrarium. Unpractical since you have the change the ice daily, but otherwise could be a nice and cheap idea, if coil/tubing is placed inside a terrarium with a cpu fan circulating the air www.gmilburn.ca/ac/pete_ac.html

Looks interesting, I should try it for the heat we've been getting over here I don't know if there would be enough coil on a CPU fan to move the cold air though... been wrong once or twice before though. If used as a highlander chamber, you could remove the light hood at night, and have a board with the coil on one side and a fan blowing against it inside the terrarium it might work. But then again, that would be alot of time and effort into it everyday.
