Hi, I recently noticed these adventitious/aerial traps growing from the flower scapes of my G. lobata: Pretty cool, huh?? I've noticed two aerial plantlets on different stalks. I'll cut the scapes just below the trap and try to establish new plants. My largest, flowering shizandra is also demonstrating these reproductive structures on bracts...pics to follow Some closeups of the flowers. This species seems to be prolific in flowering, with 6 stalks in flower on one clump and more on the way! The plant proper... Good growing, cpgeek

Weird, such things on sudews and vfts seem odd, but that is downright peculiar and fascinating
I have never seen anything like that so having some pics of the phenomenon is very cool thanks for posting these!
