Hi jellou - first of all welcome to the forum.
There's no store in Toronto that exclusively sells carnivorous plants but they can usually be found at your local nurseries during the growing season. Off the top of my head, in the GTA CPs can be found at Home Depot, Sheridan Nurseries, rumour has it that some Canadian Tires even stock them although I haven't seem them there yet. You could also try looking in the Trading Post section, I got some plants from other forum members and they were all nice and healthy.

Absolutely not. Home Depot & Canadian Tire often have Dentate VFT's and occasionally a generic nep. Occasionally local florist shops and Garden stores will have Sarr's and nep's. It's a matter of luck. If there's a florist shop or garden centre near you that you can easily visit take a look or ask them if they can stock anything. The posts on this forum often have local CP news about the GTA area.

which sheridan nursery are you going to?? I frequently visit the one at 606 Southdown road when you keep going straight on erin mills. I need to switch 3 buses to reach there..but I do it. But nowadays I bug my parents to take me there. lol! ANyways...yeah...they have the best CP's I have ever seen for sale in a nursery (non CP). The person who takes care of them is called Jennifer and I gave her some tips after showing her some pics of my own plants on my iPod. As a result... she grows the plants pretty decently. yeah! they had sundews, vft's, neps (ventricosa, ventrata & miranda).
