Hey everyone. I made a ceph soil mix from the book Growing Carnivorous Plants by Baryy A. Rice. The mix is 3perlite, 2peat, 1sand, and 1orchid bark. I used silica sand and when I put the orchid bark in it looked big, the chunks were about 1 - 2 inches long, so I cut them up into much smaller peices... I'm not sure if it was the right thing to do, but here are some pics. before After

ok, thanks. I guess I made the right mix because when I was a lot younger and I had lots of normal house plants I overwatered all of them... but they survivied, lol, and I still DO over water things a bit. This has nothing to do with the topic but how did I get Karma? I didn't really do anything nice... at all.

Karma is weird on this forum. It may or may not reflect any external reality. Some feel it floats in from alternate universes.
