Hey guys,
THis is a giveaway from my end of a pretty desirable plant. I would also like to thank Carnivore12 for being a sport and agreeing to offer this plant to someone who doesn't have a ceph. I offered it to him first, but since his ceph is doing well, I discussed whether he would like it if I offered it openly to someone who didn't have a ceph to begin with.
Here is a cephalotus that has grown from a leaf cutting. It is a very very robust little plant that has grown to this size in just over an year of starting. It already has two growth points.
If u guys recall, I repotted this ceph a little while ago....
The ceph on offer is the one on the left.
It currently looks a little rugged..but finally is growing...and has two growth points in growth.
However....Before you guys go at it. There is a little bit of
requirements list:
- Willingness and commitment to try and grow the plant. (I am sure almost everyone here has that )
- Must be an existing contributing forum member who hasn't just registered for the sake of getting a free ceph.
- DOES NOT HAVE A CEPH currently
- Pay me back for shipping. Plant will be sent potted. (Express + box ~ 15-20$ max)
That is not all....there is a disclaimer you have to agree to:
ISSUE:
- The markings on the ceph's older leaves have also been spotted on my large ceph that has shown spider mites.
- There is a 'possibility' (Although I haven't spotted it) that this ceph CAN have spider mites.
- I have used neem oil and treatment "SEEMS" to work on the older ceph: seen below: . I Have also treated this ceph with the same neem oil. No negative or any other effects have been seen.
DISCLAIMER:
- I have not seen any spider mites myself on this plant...nor any other pests.
- I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY TRANSMISSION of PESTS.
- You are responsible for quarantining the plant and seperating it from your other collectables to first ensure that it is clean.
- Please note that if you have sulawesi neps like hamata, these are very very prone to spider mites and I would thoroughly recommend that you grow this in a totally seperate enclosed space for atleast a few months till you can confirm the absence of any mites.
- I myself have a huge conscience and I would feel really terrible if you have to face any of the four different pests that I have faced myself. So if you are worried, do not think you can handle it, PLEASE DO NOT place dibs on this guy.
Alright then. Thats about it. The peeps who want to accept the conditions, send me a PM and we'll figure it out.
Have fun,
V
