Nice. Do you guys grow them inside all year round? And what do you do about dormancy in the winter?

Beautiful plant Petmantis! Surprizingly, I don't have a "regular" darlingtonia currently in the collection but the 'Othello' cultivar (completely green) I received as a tiny pup 3 years ago is finally starting to produce adult pitchers. The clay pot it's in seems to keep it a little cooler than plastic ones and it seems happy enough on a southern-facing window sill. Rob

Seed grown ...Othello..."red"....***correction it is ""naturally pollinated red flowers" Purpman said in his post of 21DEC06 offering these seeds that .... "These seeds are produced by red flowering plants. The pollen donor is unknown. If the plants self pollinate, these are red X red but may be red X othello....".***Purpman had obtained the seed from Barry Rice. This particular plant has been outside in full sun, over 90F during day at times, so seems pretty hardy. Rest of the cobras I have had all dead. Nice thing about growning plants from seed is you can see how some plants are strong and are strong growers, some have unique color or characterists, and some just die or you get rid of due to their being weak growers. .
