Just quickly typing up this note to answer all those who PM'd me ( I've been too busy potting up the plants):
We've received our Borneo Exotics shipment a few days ago, and the plants are huge! The other folks who went in the order with me, including myself will be selling off the extra plants as per my earlier post. We've only around one to four extras of some species.
I will be PM'ing those who were first to indicate to me that they wanted notification if we decided to sell...so, after I hear back from them, we'll put the rest of the Neps up for sale on this board.
Most of them are sized "Large to extra Large" eg. the N. Eppiphiata are around 7" in diameter, and the bicalcaratas are around 24" in diameter. In terms of pricing, I'll make them around the same as Pete D'Amoto's Cal Carnivores ...after being surprised by the cost of shipping, permits, duties and other taxes.

Last call. Apologies for rushing this ... but some Vancouver CP growers want the rest of the plants, and almost all the large plants have been spoken for. If there are others on this OCPS board who are interested, please PM me asap. I'll wait until this Thursday (May 11, 2006) for people on this OCPS to reply, then we'll sell the rest of the neps to the local folks in BC. There are only two bicals left and two truncatas. Here's what's remaining: N. ampullaria Large (11+" diameter) N. ampullaria Med (8+" diameter) N. bicalcarata X-Large (15+" diameter) N. bicalcarata Med (10" diameter) N. mira Med. (4" diameter) N. macfarlanii Med (4+" diameter) N. rafflesiana X-Large (14" diameter) N. rafflesiana Large (10" diameter) N. spathulata X-Large (16") N. talagensis Large (6" ) N. stenophylla X-Large (12") N. truncata (Highland form) (12 to 16") X-Large N. ephippiata Large (6") I'll post some photos of these beasts tonight.

Hi folks... Between getting pots and looking for more growing medium and co-ordinating distant colleagues who went in on this order...we're almost finished planting everything up(!) Kept running out of space and material - and I had to head down to sunny Vancouver to meet up some of my old and new friends. Got to admit, it gets really tedious after you've planted up the umpteenth pot. So, here I am almost 6 days into potting and re-potting, I've gotten around to shoot some photos. Not the best quality, but fun to look at: The day the boxes arrive from BE.../ lots of red tape to deal with at customs ... lowii , gymnaphora , truncata bicalcarata more bicalcaratas , spectabilis (L) and burbidgeae (R) burbidgea , rafflesiana , densiflora (L) and spathulata (R) rajahs ... I had ordered two extra ones of these, but one of the CP enthusiasts wanted it so badly, I sold them to her. spectabilis , talagensis , stenophylla I'll post aristichioides and others later...and when I get around to it, I'll post my experience with getting the permits and stuff, and what to do (and where to write for permission). I almost screwed up when I didn't apply for proper Canadian permits. I've got to get my sanity back ...can't handle Vancouver (too many people and cars)

I'm down to one last talagensis.
I'll reply to all of you who PM'd me with a final confirmation and breakdown. Everything will be shipped out Monday morning (May 15, 2006) once we've agreed on payment terms. Thanks to all who've put up with my scrambled messaging...and my sincerest apologies to those who are a bit disappointed cuz' the plant(s) they want are not available.

I will ship everything out by UPS. For all those who PM'd me, please also provide me your Postal Code - as I will be shipping everything via UPS so that I can figure out the shipping charge. Sorry, but no Express post this time as the nearest postal outlet is a bit out of the way for me, and UPS will pick up at a designated location. So everything will go out Monday morning next week on a 1 - 2 day service.

Rick, you're welcome. Thanks for your note and email Rick. Yes, that truncata is a monster... I hope no more of your colleagues get eaten up

Apologies for broadcasting this note to everyone on the forum... I got an email from UPS informing me that they've been unsuccessful in delivering some of the parcels (because there's no one to receive). As such they may just leave the box behind - exposing it to the sun/cold. Please tend to it quickly, as these Neps may cook/freeze to death (ie. sneak out from work today)
