I wonder if mine is mature enough to bloom? Is there anyway of knowing if it is or not?

Pretty much if they flower, they're old enough, there's NO hard and fast "rules" on that kind of thing- it usually doesn't take them long to get to flowering size tho

Oh ok, thanks Mabudon, I wonder if the one sdeering sent me has ever flowered, or if it's a inmature pulling, anyway i'm really happy with it.

Yes dvg, I hear they are huge, the biggest in all pings, well I will be very happy in a year if i can keep it alive that long...

Just keep the faith there. These are very easy pings, and most Mexican pings are a breeze to grow. It'll happen for you.

I KEEP ALL MY PINGS IN MY GREENHOUSE...I LIVE IN LANGLEY B.C....THE TEMP IS DOWN TO 10C AT NIGHT AND GOES UP TO 16C ,,THE HUMIDITY IS ALWAYS AROUND 70%,,, VANCOUVER GETS A LOT OF RAIN,,,LIGHT LEVEL IS GENERALLY LOW BECAUSE OF CLOUD COVER,,,BUT THEY SEEM TO LIKE IT,,,THEY MAKE IT THROUGH THE WINTERS AND A FEW WILL FLOWER THRUOGH THE WINTER,,I`VE TRIED DIFFERANT MIXES,,I FIND PEAT SAND AND QUITE A LOT OF PERLITE,,WORKS FOR ME,,,I`VE TRIED PERLITE AND VERMICULITE MIX BUT THE PLANTS DON`T SEEM TO GROW AS WELL,,, I DON`T WATER MUCH THROUGH THE WINTER,,JUST A BIT OF OVER HEAD WATERING ,,,THE ROOT SYSTEM IS NOT MUCH AT ALL ,,SO THE SMALL AMOUNT I WATER SEEMS TO DO THE TRICK,,,IF I CAN FIGURE OUT HOW TO NAVIGATE THIS SITE I WILL POST SOME PICTURES POPS

I think my ping is happy, today I noticed pink yones one the opening leaves, and some one the old ones, its seems its getting enough light!
