Things have just been pretty busy lately. School has started....having a 13-14 hr work day including transportation. Only have enough time to water the plants before I leave and once I come back. Thats it. The plants are chugging along though. Here is one of the newest pitchers. BTW......it IS photoshopped. Believe whatever ya want to. ;D !!! lighting: 1 x britestik GE plant gro n sho + 1 x britestik warm white

Very nice pitchers. Tropical Neps really love more Blue and Red spectrum unlike VFTs and other Temperate CPs that likes full spectrum lighting. I will be setting up my new light system this coming weekeng. I found a place that sells cheap T5 Sunblasters. Got 4 of the 4 feet T5s for 80 bucks total.

"busy" is the story of our lives. I've got so many damn frogs now... and am looking for a source of crickets... driving myself crazy. Maybe Sib was right... go into dart frogs and only worry about fruitflies. Crap. I'm going through a thousand crickets a week now... and when my redeye babies morph out, add another 500 mouths to it. And did I tell you about my Australian Green treefrogs (aka White's Dumpy treefrogs)... I've got a couple of breeding pairs. And I've been informed that they can lay up to 1500 eggs each. Oh my. Here's a pic of a Australian Green TF I just posted onto my personal website www.generasian.ca/albums.html :

Thanks Hackerberry. Welcome ( a belated one) by the way... there are so many new people on this forum that I am embarrassed to admit that I've lost track of who is who. A lot of you are getting ready for the upcoming academic year. And YES... I do miss going to school. You don't realize how much fun it was until you get old and tired.... *wheezing* So to all the folks I missed out on welcoming... I wish you all a warm welcome and to all you entering the new school year, all the best and keep up on your studies . This forum and your colleagues will still be here!

Thanks for the welcome Flytrap, I've been here for a short while and have been reviewing a lot of posts. I know a couple of folks here that helped in with my plant collections like DVG, Rug, Sdeering and Simon. I started my interest with Reptiles at first [Breeding Dearded dragons and Chameleons] and have been longing for a flytrap first when I saw one at Superstore. I then found this forum and became interested with the whole CP stuff. Glad I found this forum. Im anewby when it comes to CP that's why a like reading new posts as I have from the previous posts.

No treefrogs fow now. My mom would kill me, she's scared of the little buggers. She would rather pick up my 7 foot python than a tiny frog.

Would the frogs eat grasshoppers? Some of the sites I visit offroad have swarms of them - when I drive my pickup through the weeds the hood ends up covered with them.
