Hi everyone, I have been collecting and tissue culturing Nepenthes and orchids for over twenty years now. Have many species in culture under lights and in my greenhouse. With friends on several continents we receive seeds from most places CP grow. The collection is a private collection, not open to the public and we do not sell plants or seed however we are interested in trading for plants not currently in the group. If you have a rare or unusual Nepenthes clone drop me a PM with a description and we may affect a trade. Specimens are species plants - seedlings as opposed to cuttings rooted off mature specimens. Sharing cultural advice about CP of different genera with some fellow collectors is my objective- looking forward to good discussions on TC and horticulture. All the best! frogger

Is this is the famous Al Bickell as Lloyd put it? Good to see ya back on the forum. Ooh....ohh....would u happen to have lepanthes telipogonflora?? Its the cutest ever. Seems like you have a great communication network with plants that don't even exist in cultivation.

Hi vraev, Yes, I have some experience with Lepanthes telopogoniflora. Here are a couple of photos of it. Is that the one you mean? It is a very small (1" high) miniature orchid with flowers that are bigger than the plant itself. Comes from Venezuala and Ecuador. Likes to grow in a paludarium. Qualifications for growing Lepathes telopogoniflora: You must be able to throw handfulls of $20 bills into the wind and not wince - not even a little bit. bickell

Hi Vraev, Do you mean this N. edwardsiana? As a matter of fact - I do! So to speak. I co-sponsored an expedition in Sarawak a few years back and they came back with edwardsiana seed. My plants are now growing at a CP nursery in the US. As far as I know there is only one other mature plant of this species in NA in addition to the few seedlings resulting from that seed. Check out <http://webhome.idirect.com/~bickell/glyncon1.html> Glyn is a long time aquaintance of mine. He is an electrician working in Brunei for the Royal Family. He is an avid observer of Nepenthes and a trekker. Qualifications for growing N. edwardsiana - N/A
