Hi guys, THis video never ceases to give a smile to my face. I first saw it on TV today and searched for a version to download. www.youtube.com/watch?v=V5BxymuiAxQlol! I love it... the song is just fantastic and It never gets old. "I love the whole world....I love arachnids......I love when great whites fly.....I love real dirty things....lol!" Just brilliant. A video that makes us proud to be part of such a fantastic planet. If I was to add a line....near the end of the stanza I would add... I love plants that eat. lol! Boom de yada boom de yada Boom de yaada....boom de yaaada. lol! enjoy, V

I've got it downloading now Varun... on fast dial up. Usually takes 20 plus minutes and usually crashes part way through the download majority of the time. Hope it's a good one. So far so good, I'm up to 19 seconds so far. : ;D

lol! I am spoilt with a cable connection. my network traffic is around 80GB per month. lol! But trust me...its worth it...I was just watching it again...lmao!!! its just a magnificent piece of media. Just highlights that people have the potential to love the world around us and do what we can to protect it. There are a lot of bad things happening around the world...for instance....longor posted a field report of N.klossii in the wild. THis species is sooo hard to find and unfortunately that area is already marked for development. Species have been found and gone extinct before even proper documentation and collection. Just breaks my heart to consider how millions of yrs of evolution is wiped clean just for making a mountain resort or something like that.

It's definitely a sobering thought, and if you dwell on it too much, it's gonna put you in a funk. I don't know how easy it's going to be to alter our current course of status quo 'progress' on this planet. Nature always tends to cull our herd with some sort of cataclysimic event. Too bad we couldn't live more tune with her.

well! in general no species tries to protect the environment. Its just the limit of their needs and their control through higher food chain elements, resource availibility that limits its range and life. Humans on the other hand are magnificent that they can adapt to a very very wide range and in-fact modulate the environment themselves to stay on top of the pyramid of life. But definitely, a severe cataclysm is afoot unless we start changing our paths. I am happy to see the increasing interest in protecting the environment...and hope that we can live in harmony with other species of life on earth.
