I HAVE EGGS!!! I was totally shocked to find these in the tank today: Excuse the dirt and debris, I was actually going in there to clean it(which I do like once a week). I never expected eggs, the male is only 10 months old with a female of the same age and big moma whos probably 2 years oldish, I know from playing calls that she was looking for some loving but everyone else just ignored it! So there is two bad ones and five good one, and they're developing already! Might be hard to see from the photo, but the little tadpoles are clearly visable and the head vs. tail is noticeable too, any idea how old they might be? Sorry, I'm just so stoked! Thanks Sib

No solid evidence. They look very much the same size, feet the same. I thought I herd a buzzing sound one night but havent since. They are very hard to watch. I have a flat rock with a space under it for them to hide under, and they hide 99.5% of the time. I am thinking a redesign of there viv is in order. Ive had them for 9 months. I should put in an egg laying dish too. Any advice on that. I have a petrie dish in with my azures. I cant seem to keep water in it. I dnt know if they are splashing it out or absorbing it. buzzing could be either. I put a coco hut and petridish in all tanks. The buzz may have been him, I know mine is alot more of a short buzz then say the microspots. Auratus can be very difficult to sex on a good day. play some calls and see how they react. Sib;)
