i think its the same plant curlingguy, your plants always have great colour! Mine is inbetween his and yours, but i don't have perfect light. His almost looks like it had some kind of winter rosette? but if you look at the shape of the carnivourous leaves on the outside, they match nicely. Sib

Mine looks like Titom's. My pings never get the purple colour probably because they get bright sun but filtered through 3 panes of glass (so no U.V.).

I find even my 2 20W cool white lights colour up the plants quite nicely. I'll have to post some pictures soon.

Re: Lighting
When I started growing stuff I used one GE Daylight 40 (3050 lumems, 6500k color temp 75 cri) and one GE Sunshine 40 (2250 lumens, 5000K 90 cri) in each four foot fixture.
Now when I get new fixtures and add lights I just get the Daylight 40 bulbs as they have the higher lumens.
This ping is under two GE Daylight 40 four foot flourescents.
(My cephs are under 1 Daylight and 1 Sunshine.)

Does this hybrid make 'offsets' as easily as moranensis? I have that one, and it has multiplied quite quickly!

jonnybee7 I can help you out if you havent found one yet. Have a look at my list. Stephen Well I may just take you up on that offer Stephen, but not until it gets a little warmer here in the prairies. wouldn't want the plants to get stuck somewhere in -30 temps. I just get the Daylight 40 bulbs as they have the higher lumens. Very interesting. I always had thought that the higher the color temp of the bulb the better even if the lumens were less. But clearly you're doing something right with such a nice colored plant. How far away from the lights is it?
