I couldn't help the snarky answer. But I guess you already tried that. I once heard that if you get rid of one bear you end up with 2 less dominant bears so maybe you should leave well enough alone. One of my orchids had a spider with tons of web but I don't like touching those guys so I just left it there.

Yes, big spider webs. Usually, spidermites webs are on the ground, I think.

If there are tons of them, spidermites leave a sort of webby stuff on the undersides of leaves.

So, it's not a spidermite.

the only way to get it gone for sure is to get the spider, I have a problem like that with the spiders in my mirrors. Sib

Sometimes if you're really stealth, you can find the spider on its ground web, but they do tend to be very shy. These spiders can get fairly large as far as Ontario spiders go, so maybe it might take a big honkin' B52 or something like that to get it.

actually when I looked my bog over for regular clean up, I found quite a few spiders, they make a web nest in the mouth of pitchers. just take forceps and grab the web and will bring up a web plug complete with spider in a compact way to feed to VFT... not that that happened to the ones I found hehe.
