Might seam natural enough, but I've recently had some mushrooms pop up in the main tank: A bit of a surprize, but they look pretty cool, just doing some asking round to make sure they're safe with my little guys! Sib

yeah syb. I will be very worried about this as well. Spores from those things will be in astronomical numbers now in your terrarium. Its good if its beneficial or harmless. But its a death sentence if its not. Recently I saw a field guide to mushrooms book in chapters. Something like that might be useful to ID this thing.

I don't think there CP friendly but in a tank for decorations it adds a diff touch! Cya P.S. Sib, I hope when you say that they don't last long is because that they only live 2-3 days(or whatever) and not because you eat them for a "Trip"!!

lol, na no mushrooms for me. They have a real short cycle, you can almost see them grow! I usually notice them surfacing at night, kinda look like pencil eraser tops. by morning they're nearly full height, by the time evening comes round their fully open, and then next morning they are collapsed. If it weren't for CPs, frogs, fish, and now shrimps... I'd swear I'd be growing mushrooms too... (for viewing not eating ) they're quite pretty!

yeah I keep thinking about introducing some of the ones growing wild round here, just haven't got a clue how to go about it, maybe something longer lasting. Sib
