Are the electronic ballasts worth it? I still have the old ones for my TC setup.

Well I'm kinda thinking it is but I really cant tell. If you want to use T8s the light is brighter and more efficient than the T12's. Only thing is the cost of doing it. If you have room for 4 ft lights then just buy the 4ft T8 fixture. 4 ft is the most efficient of the florecents and actually cheaper by comparison, (you get 2 more feet for the same price) and puts out more light. I've been scratching my head for months trying to get more light without higher bills. I have a buddy thats big into aquariums and this is where I have been getting my advise from. This guy really knows his stuff when it comes to lighting. He says to always get the good stuff and never get the half way there stuff (cause in the end you won't be satisfied because there is always that "I can do better than that" factor. So far he has been right on that!! Everytime I get something and say that will do for now, now only seems to last a few weeks! When I started using T8s thats when I noticed my Rajah and my Rafflesiana just come alive with growth. Actually all my neps have.

I have a ton of cool-white 2 foot old style bulbs so I'll probably use them up.
