Hey all,
Just picked up a little Judith Finn at the Lowes. Its only about 3 inches across. I was wondering how you all grow them. I read that they dont like to be overly wet, and can be kept anywhere from lowland to highland conditions. What has worked for you folks?

Well I just have mine in a window and really pretty much just treat it like a reg. plant. I still use rain water or RO water but nuthin fancy and its huge. Each leaf is about 2 feet long and is pitchering nicely. I spray the leaves with water once or twice a day with water and water it once a day. It seems content as do the other 2 that I have in a makeshift greenhouse in my basement. I don't give them anything special. That plant seems to be able to thrive anywhere. I sold one to my boss and he hung it under his grape vines and it thru out2 new pitchers in a month!!!!! No direct sunlight outside.

I did read that they like to be in hanging pots. What is your humidity level like? Mine fluxs between 40-80%. And it gets pretty freakin hot, this past week its been 98-105 degrees.

It's a pretty resistant plant, but i dont know if it can stand a 105 F temperature. The fact that they 'need' to be in hanging basket since the pitcher (as in most Nepenthes) look more natural that way and leaves can end o be very long on adult plant, I saw 2' leaves on a plant in a local nursery. But i grow mine in pot without any problem.

I'll try, but all I have is my crappy cellphone cam, the good digital cam was left in Hawaii, and is being shipped.
I should mention that my plants do not get the 105 degree temps, the warmest they get is 90.
