Hi guys, I made the 4 hr trip down to factorydirect, found that those asses don't update their online availibility and sold out on the fans. Finally, I went and got the 11$ 4 inch fan from canadian tire. I really wanted it from FD as they had it for 5$. But, here you go. I figure that rajah's are in the open with nice air and high humidity. Even though, right now I am still debating about cutting ahole in the side to VENT air in from behind the fan....would this alone help for now?? HOw help? - mix air, prevent fungus - Allow air movement under the leaves, so basically more C02 delivery. - Keeps it nice and cool for rajah by evaporation from all the moss. - I just put this in, misted my plants. Today's temps are perfect for the rajah. enclousure is at 72F right now at 12 in the morning and humidity is aorund 70%. - I stil have my doubts if it may cause low humidity later...but I guess I will find out do u think these pts are right? would this really help the neps a lot?? thanks, vraev

My neps are in probably 100% humidity, almost no air movement and never seem to rot. In fact the old dead leaves just completely dry up with no fungus. I think the key is happy roots. On the other hand my huge N. alata is in the sunroom in the open and is going crazy.

Well! I remember David was saying that they like to have some air circulating. I guess the easier neps don't really care. Since this is a rajah that is supposed to be a ultra highlander..maybe it would appreciate it a bit.

I don't think I have any difficult ones. The ones I have give me challenge enough.

hmm....Well! I turned it off today as I will be heading back home to mississauga and I want the gradient in there so that the rajah gets cooler temps than the bical. Well! I hope turning it on and off wouldn't offset the plant, would it??
