Wondering what you guys think about this set up?! They seem to be doing very well, but they have only been out there for 2 weeks. The blackened pitcher was like that when I bought it. They seem to have no ill effects being outdoors. However I'm told these ones r easy to grow.

Nice! They can probably handle it for quite a while outside... When the night temps get close to freezing you'll want to bring them in tho... Cya

I put mine outside every summer and they grow like weeds (ventricosa, x ventrata, and x coccinea) I set the plastic pots inside thick clay pots, which cools them down a lot at night. They can take full sun as long as they are gradually acclimated like you would any houseplant. The pitchers on mine get so full of yellowjackets that the liquid is almost a solid mass of bodies...

nice! they should be ok....its a ventrata. probably among the easiest neps ever...they will adjust and once they do...you will not believe how large and weedy they can become.

I don't see how the weather affects your neps in the greenhouse? The lights bring the temp up to over room temp so even if its 20 or 30 in your room and that the greenhouse is 35-36 well it wont change... Atleast at my place if its 15 or if its 25 the temps done change at ALL! Cya

actually well...on the days when it is like 65 or 60 outside, the room temp will be that (NO AC)...so basically the temp inside enclousure is like 70 with the lights. But now its 84 outside...so its like 86 or so in the enclousure.

Ok! See that can be a problem but my greenhouse temps never goes over 37-38 degrees(Lowland) and 33-34(Highland) And night temps are like 25-26 (lowland)and 20-21 (Highland) Cya
