Hey Guys! I just took 3 Ventrata Cuttings and was wondering how long it takes before you see if it was a succes or a failiur... Thanks alot guys! Cya

What do you have them in? Usually in a week or two you can see some swelling at the leaf base where the new shoot will emerge. That’s a good sign. I have put some in sfag. in the past so I don't know how soon roots appear. A quick tip, when you cut the end you are rooting, use a very sharp razor blade. The cleaner the cut the better. Scissors crush as they cut not good. I’m going to try some air layering soon. God luck

cut with one of those old style razor blades,I dip in rooting powder and put in pure wet vermiculite.Put the pots in a tray with some h20 for humidity and stick the whole thing in a clear bag under lights. I had a miranda cutting spike but cut it off so the plant uses energy to make roots instead of flowers.
