Just thought I'd share how my truncata with other members. It's been my best grower by far! This thing has been putting out exponential growth damn near. It's currently working on a new leaf that is just a monster! heres some stats on the last 3 leaves: 3: 4.5cm long leaf, 10 cm pitcher 2: 8cm long leaf, pitcher (I accidentally broke the bud off) current leaf is already 9.5cm long still getting bigger, and much wider then the last leaf. in total from stem to bud it is just over 18 cm, I think this one will be huge... Almost tempted to have a friendly bet to see how big this monster gets! any takers? hehe I'm guessing....7imnches...so what? 18 cm?? hehe Sib

Your truncata sounds very happy. How 'bout some pics???
My truncata's last two leaves were about 10 cm in length, but that last two pitchers were 26 and 30 cm long, and assuming that you have better humidity than I do, so I'm guessing that you could see something exceeding 30 cm.
Do you feed your neps on a regular basis, and if so, do you notice growth spurts when you do that?

you may have better humidity then me rick, I do nothing special and it's not in an enclosed area, I'll be posting some pics in the contest area, gonna make this an open contest to guess the size of the pitcher when it opens! Tom what do you mean by distorted leaves? Sib

My humidity through the winter was below 40%...right now, it gets to around 50% and should increase with warmer weather that will not get here fast enough for me.
