To everyone who had received a N. x curtisii from me in the past, here is some update info. After some real low temps in my highland greenhouse (down to 47 F), all my s-called highland neps did fine except for the following: N. x curtisii N x judith finn N vietchii
It now appears to me that xcurtisii is actually more of a lowlander lover, and the same for the other two. The other highlander that showed signs of cold damage was reiwartiana and maxima clone#3. If any of you have these plants from me, I would recommend you bring them into more intermediate conditions. ie. temps no less than 66F.

Nice to hear that curtisii is not a hard core highlander because I don't have that set up and he's finally growing, yay! Sib

Glad to hear he's coming around for you. He's a very pretty nep... with beautiful blood red lips. He originated from Andrew Marshall of Cascadia Carnivores Nursery down in Seattle back in the early 1990s. Andrew's no longer around, so I'm not sure how many other xcurtisii's are out there.
