My N. Ventricosa x Inermis just flowered in my terrarium. I was wondering how big the stalk will get ? The plant its self is about 12" tall ( its sort of leaning sides). The height of the terrium is about 18" tall.
cheers,
Anthony

Good question... flytrap might be able to answer this with ease. I flowered one nep years ago, and the flower stalk was more than 12" long... but how much exactly, i cant recall it well... but there is a lot of chance it will outgrow your terrarium. Unless you really want to see the sex of your plant, or if you happens to have anothers one of the others sex in bloom right now, I would cut it down, but it's my opinion

Not sure how big the flower will get... but ventricosa floral scapes are usually less than a foot, I'm not sure what the inermis parent will make it come out at. That's exciting! If it's a female, I've got a few plants coming into bloom - including a tobaica and a spectabilis (I think will be a male). It's a pretty hybrid isn't it? Mine is a nice yellow with a bright orangy red peristome.
