This Thailand site shows recipes and photos on how to prepare Nepenthes for lunch and dinner. Rice is stuffed into Neps along with coconut milk, steamed and eaten whole. At least this site encourages the pitchers to be cleaned first. Compare this to a TV program I watched a few years back, where native peoples in Sarawak found the dead insects and other digested animals as part of the delicacy and flavouring of stuffed rice Neps. I wonder if they wash it all down with beer (?!) Here's the link to the Thai site: www.neofarmthailand.com/index.php?lay=show&ac=article&Id=105724&Ntype=6and here are some photos from their site: .
