It's not that I do not like any other CP, but Sarracenias and Nepenthese hold a special place in my heart ...oops make that my garden.
My fav Nep are the N. Rafflesiana and N. ampullaria ...even thought they are "common" and dislike our cooler temperate climate. I collect varieties of each of these, and they're always forgiving to care for.

Hmm hard to say, there is so much of diversity in this genus! but I would go for (If I stay in the species): -N. ampullaria for the globose pitcher; -N. ramispina for its black pitcher; -N. hamata (those who saw one in pitcher know why); -N. macrophylla (a nice compromise for N. villosa) -N. rafflesiana 'Elegance' (in Slack's book: do this plant has been renamed?) And there sure is plenty of more I could add, but those are in the top of my list! After a look its more a wishlist than a fav list

My experiences are very limited, I have always adored rafflesiana aswell, it grew like a weed for me, I also have a soft spot for sanguinea who in my dry living room produced a 13" pitcher...How I miss them both! From pictures I'm awfully fond of spotted things, ampullaria, maxima, fusca, and spectabilis, but then theres bicalcarata(someday!) and lowii..... So due to limited collection, I really can't quite pick a favourite! I guess right now, I lean towards ventricosa, it's tough, colourfull and (for me atleast) have very large pitchers for the plant size, atleast equal to leaf size if not bigger! Sib
