HI guys, I took this pic a little while ago. I thought it came out pretty well and the pitcher looks really very cute. So I thought maybe others might find the same with it. SO here she is: N.mira that I got from our good ol' Nepenthes veteran and friend: David Wong: aka Flytrap The plant dropped all its pitchers and leaves soon after it came. Well...leaves were dropped a lot slowly...i.e., just as a new leaf formed the old was gone. But its pretty steadily gaining size. SHe is a good candidate for a terrarium nep as most of ya guys and gals are always on the lookout for small species. cheers, V

N mira is one of the easier highlanders. It's in the same family as ventricosa, sibuyanensis and rajah. I had originally purchased ten from BE back in 2005 as I had heard that they made wonderful compact rosettes with ruby pitchers and nice blood red peristomes ... so I planted them as per my friend's set up ( five plants in one basket). So far, the plant hadn't let me down... faithfully sprouting pitcher after pitcher. I still have the 5 plantlets growing together, but have traded off a couple of the remaining plants. Here's a pic of one from "Nepenthes around the house" website:
