Hi all. I went over to a local bog here in London, to see what there was to see. The D.rotundifolia and P.P have just broken dormancy. There were 3 deer, 2 ducks, 2 turtles, and some geese in sight. There are too many deer in the area and I think it is having an effect on the Sar.P.Pupureas, the deer eat the flowers each year and thus no seeds!!!
The plants in my home bog are about 1 week ahead of the wild bog. Probably because of the warmth of the house and fish pond.

Was that Sifton Bog you visited?
I've seen D. rotundifolia, D. intermedia and S. purpurea (small plant) there, but never a ping. If that was the bog, whereabouts are the pings in it?
