Nice big pitcher. By the way, I got my plants mixed up! My H. nutans has had mature leaves for a year or two. The mature pitchers are nice but smaller than yours. It's my H. minor that is fairly new from Tom.

Lloyd,
if, like me, you got your H. nutans from the now defunct Verre Nature nurserie in Quebec, yours should mature soon.
As you see the mature pitcher is far larger than the juvenile ones. It can grow 16 inches tall!

I discovered this morning that the main crown has died, from the roots The younger offshoots dont seem affected. I really dont know what hapenned. I noticed that most of the root system that belonged to the main crown had died. I will attempt to divide it today. I lost my only mature nutans plant! It was growing a 3rd mature pitcher

That's too bad. I hope the plant recovers. Do you have other H. nutans besides the one that lost the main growth point?
