As you can see the sprouts are still very small, about 1/4 the length of the gemmea

Anglica? Does this mean I should start germinating my temperate sundews that have been stratifying? I usually wait till local spring.

I put them in the refrigerator in early Oct. and took them out early Jan. This is my first try so don't expect me to be the expert :-) BUT they are growing!!! and I am a happy camper!!! ( I mean CP grower)

Lloyd- if you like, you could take them out now, but I would suggest waiting til it's nice enough outside for our temperate sundews if you plan to leave them out there. Sarrs, as long as they've been cold for long enough, it really doesn't matter when you start them, you only really have to make them go dormant after about 2 years of growing from what I've seen so you can fudge the times a bit... Cute sprouts, I haven't tried to grow anything new from seed in a while so it's fun to see

We even have trouble with regular plants outside. The animals love digging. I tried a minibog once but the skunks ravaged it twice and I gave up. I don't even plan to put any CP's outside as I would get too upset when the squirrels destroy them.

My bog is so far so good for the little mamals but there's only D.Rotundifolia so maybe it will all change when the sarr's are gonna be there... Cya
