MAN That's cool, and it'll be extra cool to see it come back to life... I was trying to figure out why you'd go to such lengths just to see your plants sleep all winter, but these pics kinda answer the question Thanks for posting these!

That's pretty cool! Was your terrarium up against a window?
Also note that the "soil" looks completely dried up at the surface ...turned into those ice columns, but the soil below, looks fairly "wet" still.
Nice setup btw.

Flytrap- it's a complex setup, I will look for the link and try and post it or someone else can (Funkytech should recall where it is)
He pipes cold air inside the thing, while it's still in his house, it's madness of the most ingenius sort

hay, thanks for looking guys, my whole setup is in "grow area photos" if you want to see the tubing flytrap. The frost relocates my small missile and morter shell models next to the amo hut every year, one of the morter shells was raised up on a 2 inch column of ice like it was on a pedestal! ;D, but my camera battery went dead before I could get another picture . I still get a kick out of people that come over and are looking in the terrarium and all of a sudden with a puzzeled look they ask "it's -3 degrees in there right now! I'ts like looking outside, INSIDE!" LOL P.S. the tank was at -6 during these shots

ya, I wouldn't want to have to buy it all at once, it would be imposible for me, especialy when the duct fans mounted in the tubing cost 50$ each, and theres 6 all together the rest of the tank was fairly economical, considering that 60% of it was built using left over helicopter and mazda parts ;D
