Hi guys,
Firstly ..I wish you all a happy christmas. I also want to thank curlingguy for the drosera he sent and of which 2 survived. I also want to thank llyod for sending utricularia calcifyda which u can see hanging on to dear life with 2 leaves.
A little history---
Here are my CP's.....effectively 4 months old....I bought them in september. The main big one is a B52 with around 1.5 inch traps. The other is a typical with like a little less than an inch traps. The third is the red dragon which obviously is suffering with lack of light...but I am trying to keep it going for now till my next potting next summer...also maybe sneaking in is the small colsanti farms dentate...this plant is sooo small...shows how "WALMART VFT" quality is compared to terrific CP grower's quality. I got all the plants from a very special friend "Richard Keehn" at keehns Carnivores. I definately recommend the place to everyone who wants to buy cps in canada. Top notch plants that I got from him. The leaves that were on when he sent are all gone now...these are all leaves that the plant formed in my care.
COnsidering that this is a measly terrarium grown VFT's with absolutely low light conditions as the expert VFT growers might assume....I am pretty happy with the colouring I am getting.
Also seen on the left in a couple of pics is a little "COLLECTED MOSS" on my trip to niagara on the lake city with my cousins earlier today.
ENJOY! Hope you guys like em.
cheers,
vraev
PS:: Does anyone mind telling me "WHAT KIND of sundew is in that little pot of mine....the big one in the center...it is like 1-2 cm in size and it has randomly grown under my VFT...I removed it and planted it seperate along with the 2 smaller seedlings I recieved."
NOTE:: the BROKEN CILIA in the bottom pic is what happens when a cilia is stuck inside a trap that is digesting a meal
thats it for now.
good bye.
