Rick definately inspired me! The shelves I use to grow indoor, with either 1-2 racks of 2 fluorescent tubes. The one in the room with red walls (bedroom) is for cool loving/tolerant plants, since we sleep usually with the window wide open all year around. The temperature inside the terrarium isn't going down that much though, because of the lid, but it was enough to resume my highland growth after the stunt from last summer's heat. The second room have a slight temperature drop at night, but not as much significant. Nepenthes ephippiata: finally making a pitcher! Some small N. hamata pitchers Nepenthes 'Judith Finn' Nepenthes x mixta and Nepenthes ampullariaNepenthes x wrigleyana and Nepenthes rafflesiana (anyone know how to name this form? it comes from macrovulgaris) Sarracenia purpurea ssp venos var. burkei beginning to color under fluorescent tubes Those 2 lasts ones are for Vraev, enjoy those little aquatic VFT! Aldrovanda vesiculosaOther than that, what's up in my collection: in flower: Utricularia dichotoma Utricularia livida Utricularia endresii sent a flower stalk but an aphid attack snapped it 1 plant of Utricularia calycifida, sown last spring, is sending a flower stalk Pinguicula sp. Pachuca Some VFT think they are in spring and are growing flower stalk too... as do some orchids

I notice some succulents at the bottom there. Should this be considered off-topic? :-)

I have just 3 succulents left of my collection about 30 years ago. I have some nice saguaros from seed which are maybe 7 years old. I may have to repot them in the spring. If your girlfriend is interested, I could send some. Of course in a hundred years or so they will weigh as much as a subcompact car. We also have lots of orchids that I have rescued from other people.
Your plants are really looking good. I especially like the Aldrovanda. I'm going to try your idea with the boiled peat water in the spring when I take them out of dormancy.

Nice setup and plants, Tom. Better get started on a couple more light units, as you're going to need it once your neps become happier in their surroundings.

Thanks! I know Rick, I have a 400W HPS lying around in my stuff (my plan B!), but getting it mounted the proper way in an appartment when you are moving often is still too much troubles (and less heat!) for the moment. But once I'll settle down, it should get started!

wow....really nice plants there Tom. I like the waterwheel plant. I might consider to get one once I get a water fall + swamp setup in the future.
