As I've mentioned in these forums in the past, I had a real nice specimen of this plant for 10+ years (came right from my software vendor in Australia). It grew to a specimen plant about 12" in diameter. Darned if I didn't wind up planting it into some stuff labelled as "Peat Moss", which had been modified to include fertilizer and a higher pH, which killed the plant instantly. This stuff even killed D. capensis and D. adelae. In hindsight, I should have divided the plant and distributed a few (he who laughs last probably made a backup). After a 4 year search to replace it, I met a fellow here named "biollante", who had a few established plants for sale. I bought three. For anyone looking for a plant, I would recommend contacting this gentleman and seeing if he still has any available. For those in the Kitchener-Waterloo general area, it's a nice drive out to his place in "metropolitan" Newton, Ontario. These are a couple of pics of one of the new additions: Closeup of a pitcher

Two of the plants (including the one shown) were in 5" pots and one was in a slightly larger pot. The pitchers are around 1" in size right now. You can get a pretty good scale from the D. capensis seedlings in the pot.
These plants are exactly as I received them from biollante (on this board). I could not be more thrilled to get my hands on such good quality plants.
They're going to be REAL happy here!

Very nice plants with good colour. Don't you find that the capensis are annoying? I invariably pick them out. Not as bad as <<U.subulata>>, though. (The brackets are to keep it from spreading to other posts.)
