Hey FMT, glad you signed up!! And don't worry, if you do your homework, you need not hope for your VFT, they are real easy to grow as long as you give them a rough approximation of what they want Once you catch the bug (no pun inten- ahh who am I kidding, I meant to do that ) you'll find there are LOTS of species that need more "hope" to really grow well

No sweat, I know how hard it can be starting out in the hobby when you can't actually get any material due to borders etc, so if ever I see what could be a new Canadian CPer who isn't HERE I tend to jump on it Glad you accepted, and looking forward to seein you graduate from VFT academy to some of the more uncommon CPs

hey buddy, I started with VFT's too. if u got the walmart one and especially the dentate cultivar...you will be amazed at how quickly it adapts. It just takes time. Mine took 2 weeks and now its growing well. just don't give up on it...and make sure u water with rain water...(A advice which I took pretty hesitatingly ..but am actually glad that I was able to get some rain water )...CP's love it. Yup...mabudon is a great friend. He is making me graduate to wider CP's . now I am adding few droseras to my collection.
