Do you mean you want to grow this plant? See my thread below. I can't think of any reason to try it. It was sort of interesting to figure out how to grow it from seed and the flowers were sort of Ok but that was it. You can't grow it inside as the slime and smell are objectionable. It's really not worthwhile.

Insectivore learned my about this plant and for me, it's a parasite... a disgusting plant. I'm sorry for the Ibicella's fans, but I'm afraid of it. bye guys!

The only good thing is that it is hard to kill. I just stuck it into some gravel and ignored it for the summer. It kept flowering until a killer frost late in the fall. No squirrel, skunk or raccon would go near it. Also not one gnat or fly or anything ever stuck to it. I just grew it because I didn't know how loathsome it was. Kill them now and plant a sunflower or anything else. A dandelion would be a priceless orchid in comparison.

lloyd, i even sing the little shop of horrors song when i change the water. that baby can drink a garbage can of water a day. as it is also called the corpse flower.so many wont come within ten feet of it.a cool one to start with is the voodoo lilly from nepal not as rewarding but definitely cool lookin mines about 5 feet high and has a 2.5 foot leaf structure at the base . there are also varieties that are smaller with cool colors maybe we can TC some for you ......just make some space and prepare the family for its lovely scent and your gold sticky

Sticky, thanks but I'll pass on that, no need to stink my family out of the house. As soon as I smelled my stinky Ibicella I put it out in the side garden.
A garbage can of water daily? I hope it only has to be tap water.
