As soon as I started my citrus seeds I've had gnats always flying aroudn in my room and at first it was tolerable, but now it's gotten out of hand and I was wondering what CP would be the best to eliminate as many flys as possible as soon as possible. Thanks

Any big sundew or Byblis would be good. My marston dragon is really big and messy looking. Filiformis is a good catcher too but it's late in the year for that.

Do you think a nepenthes would work? I've really thought about getting one of those lately.

Hey! It would but it wouldn't be the most effective sollution... Give it a try but don't forget that they are plants that like LOTS of Humidity(60-100%) otherwise they either die or don't produce any pitchers... I'm sure you could get your hands on a Drosera Capensis from somebody on this forum... I should have all kinds of Droseras this spring contact me then and I could sell you some! On the other hand if you get a Nep don't hesitate to ask any questions! Cya

Pings and dews make great gnat trappers...I think my plant winning right now is a sethos. Gnats don't seam to be the most intellegent bugs in the world. Right now I have a margarine tub full of water on my growstand that I'm rearing some tadpoles in. They are getting quite the taste for gnats, as soon as it hits the water and starts to struggle, they get it, works for me, just so long as they meet a timely demise Thanks, Sib
