If you guys see threads started by me at terraforums last year before I joined in here, there is an exact situation of me finding slowl release fertilizer in schultz peat moss. SO yeah! I guess some of us have learnt this the hard way. Hows the potting up going sawchuck?

i think it went well, but only time will tell, the plants in its new pot and its stoped loosing leaves but it still is kept in a west window and id like 2 get it under lights which i am in the process of doing. i am keeping water levels much lower and drying the surface before watering alhtough it appear my soil mix is diffrent form the rest of yours?? hes another visual on the end result there is a bag over it, to supply apropriate humidity ughh it doesent look 2 good eh anyways thx for all the help everyone

In my opinion, I wouldn't let the medium dry out between waterings.
By the way, I was at Canadian Tire last week and I saw the Schultz "Pure" sphagnum. It said no additives so who knows what the green things were, sound like an "additive" to me.

hmm....for a leaf cutting...I wouldn't let it dry. the only vegetative part is at the end...and if there are no roots to probe deep...the thing will dry and once the white part dries....you can kiss it goodbye. basically if you medium is now in a light medium (like mine), then basically try watering it once a day or two and watch the water just rush out from the bottom. That means the media is very open and the plant is kept DAMP.
