I have a ceph that has been floundering for a while. It will look like it is getting better then abort pitchers and have a bunch of leaves yellow off. I have been battleing thrips but I really don't see them on it, maybe the occasional passer by... I was always trying to get it healthy/ happy then was gonna try repotting it, but i'm getting to the point of screw it and repot it as is, I have 6-10 younger plants that have established themselves from leaf cuttings of this plant, so theres got to be something going on there... any thoughts? If it's chronically sick, I would unpot it, wash off all the medium, prune all the dead/sick parts, soak it in the Neem mixture, repot it and leave it alone for a while.

I would soak everything, even the roots. I have used the Savage Garden mixture.

As far as medium I like 2 parts sand, one part peat. Or you could try 1/1/1 peat/sand/perlite.....I got some 16 grit sand from my local Lordco store- they ordered it in for me.....
