I may be able to get my hands on an entire flat of "red mouth"Dentes. I'm just gauging interest at the moment as I don't wanna spend that much money if there is no interest. He has a few other cultivars but no Akai Ryus, b52's, big mouths as example. He has an all green cultivar from Japan he said. And then just typicals. Price will be (I think) under $6 a plant. I am going to see him to talk price on Sunday. Sry I cant divulge who this grower is as he told me that he doesn't want to be harrassed, as he calls it, for plants by a million ppl. I said I would do the dirty work for him. I can also probably get N. Vericosa's pretty cheap as well. PM me if u r intersted. As I said, I am gauging interest at the moment. A flat contains 70 plants. If I can sell that many then I will of coarse be more than willing to buy a flat. Heres a pic of 3 of em I bought yesterday.

WOW! for locally available plants....those are in really perfect condition. Great job! IF AVAILABLE...I like to get a red phirana. But, I think its pretty unlikely. Apart from that the typically available VFT cultivars are good for now EXCEPT that I would like to get a second red dragon. If you can show some pics of the red dragon, big mouth and any other cultivar that is in "that" perfect condition. .. lol! I might consider a MAX of 3-4 plants. DAMMIT...its soo hard to obstain getting more CP's. lol! Its been around a month since I got a new plant...and already my palms are itchy for more. But honestly though....good score. perfect plants there.

Honestly he doesn't even know what cultivars he has. Nor really do I! I saw these, the Japanese all greens (looks like a small big mouth as the traps have pockets (very round shape like b52's). He just gets em in all the time already cultivated. I may be able to get him to order different cultivars with his next shippment but I would have to see if he has a catalogue that he orders from. He really knows nuthin about them. Typical for non specific grower I guess. I'll see what I can come up with. And really I am rather new to growing cp's so identifying specimens on my own may be tough. I'll see if he will let me take some pics (don't see y he wouldn't) and everyone here can ID them and we will see about availability.

Hey Rug! Its just that Dentes are availlible at any of your local Lowblas for 4$... At least here they are... So buying them for 4-6$ plus shjipping is accualy like seeing a 10$ Truncata at a garden centre and ordering it off ebay for 16.99 plus 7 $ shipping... But However... Cultivars could be interesting if availible! Cya P.S. Have any pics of the Japanese Clone you were talking about?

Hiya rug - if your source has access to cultivars other than what's normally available locally (ie. Dente, Typical) I'd definitely be interested...and post up pics of that all green clone, that would definitely make a nice addition to my Dionaea collection.

sorry dude..its just as insectivore said, dentate's are available almost everywhere in canada. If you can get other cultivars..we will be definately interested. otherwise as he said..its just pointless getting a 7$ plant for 7$ + shipping compared to just 7$ at my local rona lansing which is like 5 min walk from my house.

All righty I'll get down there on the weekend. Just that I dont ever see vft's anywhere so not used to them being available I guess. There are no places around here that carry them. I will see if I can get some pics. i talked to him this morning and he will see what they have and get me to put his order in next time. So hopfully there are some good cultivars available. He says they switch em up all season.

sure man! just see if he can get some nice ones of other cultivars. In that quality, I will definately get a couple if he has a nice variety. Thats what pisses me off of COLSANTI farms who pump out the dentate.

Also dentates are not high up on the list of most wanted plants here. They really don't have any advantage over typical VFT's and look sort of unnatural (to me anyway).
