Guys! I have a related question. When do you and how do you bring your VFT's out of dormancy? I am trying an experiment with removing the dentate. I have removed it and planted it a day ago....The corm is still white and firm. When should I expect to see it grow? 2-3 weeks??

You should see signs of life pretty fast, since it isn't a gradual thaw, the plant should sorta spring (no pun intended) into action

well, maybe more like 2 weeks before stuff is REAL obvious, but you should notice signs in the next days I'd think

I just clean the fungus off and cut off the dead fungus covered pieces. I don't like the idea of that stinky fungicide in the fridge.

I know what you mean lloyd. Thats why I don't want to use fungicide.
hmm....so carl, I guess I am looking for small leaves in the root trying to sprout??
I guess it will take a little while considering I am repotting it inside the terrarium and the roots have to acclaimatise and then take hold of the soil.
