I'm always on the look. These days mainly jams/jellies from local wild stuff like grapes and Elderberry. The occasional weird fungus that are super distinctive like giant puff balls.

I just went out yesterday, got a bunch of wild leeks, some garlic mustard and some pheasants back mushrooms.bcant wait for may apples so I can do a jam!

All the parts of the plant are poisonous, including the green fruit, but once the fruit has turned yellow, it can be safely eaten with the seeds removed.
Careful with May apple.

I tend to get blackberries, elderflowers or berries, rose hips, dandelion flowers and other stuff and turn them into wine. Not all turn out as I would like, but the effect is acceptable.

Whereabouts are you finding these things? Are they under logs or what's the best sort of environment for hunting these guys?
