so before i was growing all my CP in the tray methed which worked good made for excellent dew on the dews, but since iv moved everything in to the terrarium the dews have stoped craeting it and have gone deep red and are growing, but not producing dew?? and what i heard was if your dews are happy then your other plants will be happy?? might sound crazy i dunno
this is my most recent setup pic and all my new plants, notice how cranky they are [ftp]http://www.putfile.com/pic.php?img=5572258[/ftp]
these are my questions should they be constantly sitting in water?? is the groose green water a prob? is water height a prob or can plantroots be constantly soakin??
they seemed happier when completely saturated then aloud to drain and dry a bit before repeated?? i have some sitting in deep water completely soaking roots?? i know theyll be fine but some clarifycation would be cool righton peops

Any stress on sundews and they will lose the dew. They must be water-stressed. So mild temperatures (18-22 or so), high humidity, bright light but no direct sun, continually moist but maybe not sitting in water up to the surface should hopefully do (no pun intended). Increase the light/sun exposure as the dew appears, maybe on new leaves. Cape sundews are tough, and extrema should come back too.

ya... lloyd is right on.... stress on sundews makes the dew-less... but as you said.. they've turned a nice bright red... thats a good sign! give them some more time, and just make sure they arent cooking in that terrarium! *EQL*

What are the temperature there sawchuk?
all my plants are in terrariums and when the temps start to go up soo it should the water specially summer time. the humidity might also not be to high right now where you have them (low humidity= dew evaporation)
Hope it helps
later

alright so i have DAy: 20-40C witch im trying to fix casue 40 is to hot right?? Night: 10-20c
Humidity: 95%RH 7Pm-1Pm drops in direct sun down to 60% although it is a very cheap meter form homedepot
i know that my setup provides sufficent humidity cause i tested meter in normal weather and it droped sufficently
it seems that the dews that can be bagged or tented are doing great, flowingering, but the dews like cape and exteeme are struggling, but the cape is just coming back very red it might be alright
