Ok, I bought some crickets from home hardware, and I feed one to my capensis sundew. I then left it for about 30 minutes. I came back and the cricket was eating the red sticks on the leaf he was on! There is now for about 1cm there is no red sticks! This sucks! I had to pull off the cricket, and then i squished em hehe. But maybe i feed him wrong? How should i feed them?
Please help! Josh

LMAO okay, sorry
Maybe crickets are a tad too strong for Cape sundews JoshG... I would seriously consider putting the plant outside, it'll eat what it catches, but don't worry about the damage to your plant, it'll bounce back right quick

lol! I use crickets on VFT's without issues. However, I would never feed them to a sundew..lol! its not dorsile enough to be trapped by a sundew. Personally don't even bother feeding a sundew...cape sundews are good enough without any food...give them food and they will never leave your grow space.

LOL that sucks. Crickets are good, just kill em first. I'm fond of things like freeze dried blood worms and fruitflies. Sib
