Good job. It looks like the tiny sea stars you find in a reef fish tank.

Wow that's really neat. Would you eventually want to plant it in some substrate, or can it continue to grow free-floating indefinitely?

It's aquatic so I guess I'll leave it in water

Nice work Willy! Where you came into viable aquatic utric seed is a mystery. How are you planning on growing this monster eventually? I'd love to grow U. floridana, but I just don't have the kelp forest aquarium to properly display it.

Wow, Alex. I wish I have a kelp forest aquarium... I got my seeds from BCP, germ rate is pretty low, 1/25 but I'm glad I have one growing (not complaining). It depends how vigorous the plant grows, I might grow it in my Axolotl tank, fish tank and wherever with un-drained water Cheers, Willy

The baby plant is growing well! I love to watch it everyday floating on water.

Sad news, I put some seed shrimps in the water to clean up some algae and feed the Utric.. but then they ate the Utric

So sorry to hear of your Utric's tragic end. If there was anybody it had a chance with, it was you. Some plants are easy to bond with.
