I got an idea of having a CP because I was reading a Guinness World Record book and saw how fast VFT can close there traps. So, first I thought I should get a VFT but I read that they are really meant to be outside, but its really unpredictable weather here in Alberta. I then decided to get a Sundew. I am planning to grow it in an old reptile tank ( I have a big snake) it is a 20 gallon tank. I will put the pot along with the tray inside the cage with a 17watt fluorescent light. My mix for the soil is one part Sphagnum one part Perlite. I also have a 17watt fluorescent light that i am going to use. Is this enuff light? Should I be starting with a Sundew? WOOT WOOT! first post! Please leave some replys
